Friday, June 15, 2007 A videotaped address by Thaksin Shinawatra was played for a crowd of around 15,000 supporters today in Bangkok, with the ousted former prime minister calling for the military-installed government of Thailand to hold elections later this year as promised. “Please speed up the new elections and turn the country back to democracy,” Thaksin said in his message, taped in London, where he has been living in exile since being ousted in a coup last year. “It is time for reconciliation and to move forward with elections. That is the best solution for the country.” “Let the people decide for themselves who should be voted into office and run the country,” he said. Interim Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont has said the elections would likely be held in December, after a constitutional referendum, which might occur in August or September. Saturday, September 20, 2008 According to document-leaking website Wikileaks.org hackers bypassed security at BillOreilly.com, the official website of Fox News Channel commentator Bill O’Reilly, exposing personal information of the site’s users in a document posted on the Internet. The one page document, which Wikileaks confirms to be authentic, shows a list of individuals and passwords of those who have accounts on O’Reilly’s website, BillOReilly.com. The list, according to the document, contains at least 205 names, e-mail addresses, billing addresses and passwords of subscribers. “The hack was a response to the pundit’s recent scurrilous attacks over the Sarah Palin‘s email story–including on Wikileaks and other members of the press,” said Wikileaks in a statement on their website. According to the report, the security on O’Reilly’s website was “non-existent”. “I’m not going to mention the website that posted this, but it’s one of those despicable, slimy, scummy websites. Everybody knows where this…

Were talking about your grandparents if youre a millennial or your parents if youre a Gen Xr, who have retired from the workforce and are looking at rewarding themselves with the best things life has to offer. With more disposable income, no financial obligations to their family and more spending power, baby boomers are so important to every business as they account for 50% of all consumer spending. Friday, April 23, 2010 Minas, one of the largest states of Brazil, has stopped the sale of the Toyota Corolla over safety concerns. The move was made after nine Corolla customers reported that their cars automatically accelerated. The state public prosecutor’s office said in an online statement on Tuesday that the problem is blamed on accelerator pedals sticking underneath floor mats. Local government said the issue was “putting in danger the lives of occupants”. According to the prosecutor’s office, sales of Corollas may resume when Toyota alters the floormats in its current models. Toyota has recalled over eight million vehicles worldwide due to acceleration problems. Monday, July 18, 2005 Utah Senator Chris Buttars has decided not to introduce a bill requiring the teaching of “divine design” in Utah schools, at least for this year. Buttars withdrew after State Board of Education director Patti Harrington assured him that Utah public school curriculum does not teach that man descended from apes. Buttars had hoped his divine design proposal would escape the controversy of creationism or intelligent design. “The only people who will be upset about this are atheists,” he stated on June 6 when he announced his intention to run the bill. Utah is home to the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints also known as the Mormon Church. On the surface it would seem Utah would be a likely scene of intense religious pressure in public schools over the teaching of evolution. But unlike states with a strong Christian conservative presence, Utah’s LDS…

More On This Topic: Medical Scrubs Sets Submitted by: Brent McNutt Arthritis can be very painful and most people who have this disease can attest to that. Arthritis is a degenerative disease that affects the joints in the body. When one has arthritis, pain is your ultimate companion. The pain can be felt in the back, neck, hip, and knee or feet depending where the arthritis is. The pain is caused by the inflammation that develops around the joints. Aside from that, the pain can also be caused by daily wear and tear of the joint, the amount of damage to the joint by the disease, fatigue and most especially muscle strains due to movements that force stiff and painful joints to work. This pain can be relieved by taking some pain medication such as muscle relaxant or any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. These will help with the swelling and pain.…

It was a tournament that I wish we’d actually gone back to more often. ((Wikinews)) Who plays in that one? Tina McKenzie: It’s quite a large Canadian tournament, and so we went as the Gliders team. So we were trying to get as many international games as possible. ‘Cause that’s one of our problems really, to compete.
